General DNWs:
-Book canon for Red October
And I don't tend to like character death fics, especially not when it's not canon
General Likes:
-Hurt/Comfort
-Expansion of canon events/missing scenes, especially relating to trauma, injuries etc
-sharing clothes
-hand kink
-friends to lovers
-enemies to lovers (especially with 'reluctant friends/allies' somewhere in the middle)
-characters who have been through hell together and would do it again for the other
Trauma Likes:
-Scars and old injuries (especially in terms of body worship)
-PTSD
-Stoic characters at their most vulnerable
-bedside vigils
-selective mutism following trauma/injury/illness
-the characters finding out each others' physical and mental limitations in both day to day life and the bedroom following injury/illness/a traumatic event
-altered states (drugs, illness, inujury, magic, whatever) and how to comfort someone who might not be sure where or when they are because of it
Collateral
Prompt type things:
-Vincent's trauma outside of the stuff that happened to him when he was a kid
-Vincent surviving the injuries inflicted on him by Max at the end of the movie, his recovery and potential disabilities that those could have caused
-Vincent being unsure of how to accept comfort because of a lifetime of trauma
-Max having to reconcile his attraction to Vincent with the trauma he caused and vice versa
-Vincent sparing Daniel, but Daniel being tracked down by other hitman after Felix's trial, and how the two of them deal with that, especially if one of them is injured.
The Hunt for Red October
Prompt type things
-any exploration into Jack's canonical injuries, the lasting physical effects and the psychological effects of what happened.
-on a related point, what would happen if Jack's condition gradually got worse in the years after the movie, and what his partners would do to comfort him in these situations
-Ramius and Jack processing the events of the movie, and Ramius the things that happened to lead to his defection and helping each other through it
-The same as above with Bart helping them through it
The Man from UNCLE
I prefer established relationship fics with this, I see them as having been together since before the start of canon.

-Episode codas, especially to episodes like The Discotheque Affair, the Love Affair and The Summit Five affair when either or both of them has been injured or tortured (especially Napoleon)
-domesticity between missions, especially while one is looking after the other
Mission Impossible
Prompt type things:
-post mission fics, especially hurt/comfort and longer term recovery of on-screen injuries
-Anything where Hunley survives
-Ethan being comforted after a nightmare/flashback
-Ethan trying to comfort his caretaker when he's hurt and make sure they're okay too
